Amazon Discounts Solar Garden Stakes as Fall Season Peaks

October 5, 2026 — Amazon has launched a significant price cut on bulk solar garden lighting, targeting homeowners looking to extend their outdoor ambiance through the autumn months. The current promotion focuses on multi-pack swaying stakes designed to mimic natural insect movement in the garden.

According to Dealcatcher.com, shoppers can currently secure a 6-pack of Solar Garden Firefly Lights for $22.39. To lock in this specific price, the report notes that buyers must apply coupon code RRQGC78J at the checkout screen. While the price point is aggressive, Dealcatcher.com also points out that free shipping is not included in this particular offer, which may affect the total value for non-Prime members.

The Amazon deal offers six stakes, but the Solar Firefly Lights 8-pack provides 64 warm LED bulbs, which creates a much denser light profile for larger flower beds. If you're on a budget, the Amazon 6-pack is a functional entry point, but you lose out on the sheer bulb count per square foot. For those with very small patios, the 4-pack from Solar Firefly Lights is the more practical choice to avoid overcrowding a tight space.

Expert tip: When installing these swaying stakes, avoid grouping them too tightly. The flexible stems need at least six inches of clearance from dense shrubbery to sway properly in the breeze. If the stems are restricted, you lose the firefly effect and end up with static, upright LEDs that look like standard pathway markers.

Here’s what I’d actually buy: I prefer the Solar Firefly Lights 8-pack for the build quality of the solar panels. Cheaper alternatives often use smaller, lower-efficiency cells that struggle to hold a charge as the days get shorter in October. Skip this if you live in a region with heavy tree canopy coverage, as these units require direct sunlight to hit the dusk-to-dawn sensors effectively. Before you buy, make sure to check our guides on weatherproofing outdoor electronics, maximizing solar panel efficiency, choosing the right garden stake height, and battery maintenance for solar lights.

While the Amazon coupon code offers a quick discount, the long-term value depends on the durability of the flexible stems and the reliability of the internal batteries through the winter.
